COMMON QUESTIONS

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

Please call the clinic to schedule an initial consultation. New patient forms can be completed here. If you are interested in Suboxone treatment please see the Opiate Treatment page and complete the treatment contract here

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

To maintain a more personalized and private experience, we do not contract with any insurance providers at this location. This allows us to keep our office less crowded, reduce administrative costs, and focus more on providing attentive, patient-centered care. Payment is required by cash or credit card at the time of your visit.

If you have insurance, we will provide you with a detailed receipt, and you can submit the claim to your provider for possible reimbursement. Additionally, your insurance may still cover costs for medications, lab work, or counseling services that are part of your treatment plan.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Our office charges a straightforward monthly fee that covers all office visits during that calendar month. Whether you are seen once or multiple times, the cost remains the same. This structure simplifies financial planning and helps reduce the burden for patients who may need more frequent visits, especially during the initial phase of treatment. Most patients are seen three or more times in the first month as they stabilize and get their questions answered.

The initial fee is $250, and follow-up months are charged at $150 per month, ensuring ongoing access to care at an affordable, predictable rate.

WHAT ABOUT VIRTUAL VISITS?

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we introduced virtual appointments in 2020, which have proven invaluable for our patients balancing work and family responsibilities. While we generally prefer that new patients meet in person for their first few visits to establish care, virtual visits may be appropriate after the initial month, based on a discussion between you and your doctor.

Please note that you must be physically located in the State of Kansas during your appointment, even for virtual consultations. If you face challenges attending in-person appointments—such as living a significant distance from the clinic—please reach out to discuss your situation. We can provide toxicology testing kits by mail and initiate treatment virtually when necessary.
